From the ex-GKN factory collective in Florence to the Fridays for Future movement in Turin, and to the transfeminist experience of the Consultoria FAM in Turin, Progetto Polis – with its third edition titled Narrazioni – investigates the construction of identity and objectives of extra-institutional political movements. The heart of the project is formed by three research studies, assigned to three young researchers, in dialogue with typographic arts.
The project unfolded in several phases. The starting point was the realization of three research studies focused on contemporary movements. Based on these studies, an artistic residency was organized at Associazione Archivio Tipografico, during which original works were designed and produced. The culmination of the project was presented through four talks, an exhibition, a workshop, and a printed publication, Archivio Futuro.
Archivio Futuro was designed, digitally printed, and bound at Archivio Tipografico.
