Et in Academia Ego is the first book produced for the Cento Amici del Libro association, a cultural organization active in the field of book collecting.
All aspects of the project—layout, typographic design, printing, binding, and finishing—were entirely executed at Archivio Tipografico.
The text reproduces two short essays by the Turin-based artist Ugo Nespolo on the development and market of contemporary art. Interspersed throughout the essays are five works of art, each printed in three or four colors. All colors were custom-mixed for the project and approved in collaboration with the artist.
The entire book was produced in the Archivio Tipografico workshop, with support from Diego Prot for binding and finishing.
The Cento Amici del Libro association produces one book per year exclusively for its members, often featuring unpublished texts and artworks.
