Archivio Tipografico is a space for the preservation, the study and the practice of typographic arts. The aim of AT is to preserve, to keep alive and to reinvent in a contemporary way the craft of composing movable type and producing high quality letterpress prints.

The aim of this workshop is to extend AT’s mission to a group of artists, designers, and artisans from different places and with different backgrounds, and to share the printing practices of the participants.

Swayspace is a design studio and letterpress printshop based in Brooklyn, New York and the San Francisco Bay Area. The printshop and the studio grew out of a love for experimentation, materials, and history. It embodies a principle that is at the core of their beliefs: that great design is a bridge between the past and the future.

Swayspace is honored to be guests of and collaborators with Archivio Tipografico for this upcoming summer workshop in Turin.
