The studio designs and develops typefaces both as internal working tools and on commission, for identity projects that place typography at the center as a distinctive element.

Many of the typefaces designed by the studio will soon be available for licensing through Ritmo Type, a digital foundry created in collaboration with Il Letterista, offering designers communication tools crafted with exceptional technical precision.

For us, type design is first and foremost an opportunity for study and exploration. It is also the tool we use to share the cultural heritage of Turin’s long typographic history, the legacy of Fonderie Nebiolo, and the materials preserved in our extensive collection of movable type and foundry specimens.
