The task of cataloging all of Archivio Tipografico’s type drawers is a constant work in progress.

This publication is the second in the “Mobili di caratteri” series. After cataloging small title typefaces, we turn to large poster typefaces, presenting most of the wooden typefaces in Archivio Tipografico's collection.

These typefaces were recovered from closing printers in Piedmont, Liguria, and Lombardy. Each double page is dedicated to a style, with alphabetical-visual compositions that present each typeface according to its specific morphologies.
