Promotional poster printed for the presentation of “Tipi di Torino”, a project carried on with Giulia Garbin and Print About Me to present the story of the local typographers.
Printed with linocut, silkscreen and movable type composition. Available with orange or white background.
Print About Me and Archivio Tipografico led Giulia to discover stories related to the Turin typographic scene, past and present. Thus was born a volume (currently sold-out) in which the stories of five characters are narrated and illustrated, which recount the splendour, decline and rebirth of typographic printing in Turin: a collection of local stories and legends. Everything does not run on the tracks of nostalgia, but rather recovers ancient - but not passed - traditions and techniques, to the rediscovery of the art of typography and the culture of the artist’s book.
