Eurostile (diptych)
An enlargement of one of the most iconic spreads of Alfa-Beta by Aldo Novarese (p.250/251), showcasing the drawings and the concept behind the squared shapes of Eurostile. Eurostile is one of the most renowned typefaces by Aldo Novarese, drawn as a continuation to the typeface Microgramma, by his teacher Alessandro Butti. In the picture below, Aldo and his friend Cesare Maletto, clapping their hands after the presentation of the project Eurostile, during the Rencontres de Lure.
